We are excited to share the latest route addition to our network as we launched Mandalay to Chiang Mai, Thailand, which we celebrated with a special inaugural flight ceremony held at the Mandalay International Airport on 10 Feb 2025 (Mon). 

Chiang Mai becomes MAI’s fourth international destination from Mandalay after Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok-Don Mueang and Novosibirsk, demonstrating our intent to provide seamless travel options to our guests.

The inaugural flight was greeted with a grand water cannon salute, symbolizing our warm welcome and passengers were gifted with unique takeaways, a small token of our appreciation for choosing MAI.

MAI will operate direct flights between Mandalay & Chiang Mai every Mon & Fri. We look forward to welcoming you onboard soon!
